Nik started his career in radio working alongside the legendary record producer, Pete Waterman at Radio City in Liverpool during the late 1980's.

His roles in radio have included being a producer, on-air presenter, Music Director at Virgin Radio, Executive Producer at Kiss 100 and Programme Director at 95.8 Capital FM.
​
He then founded a successful media consultancy working with music and entertainment brands and providing content development for radio stations worldwide.

Dan was part of Chris Evans' on-air team throughout The Big Breakfast, Don't Forget Your Toothbrush, TFI Friday, BBC Radio 1 and Virgin Radio days.
In 2001, Dan set up his own company to supply music and audio production to media.
This lead to him writing music for a spread of productions, from live events, animation and co-writing the themes tunes... to a raft of high profile TV shows including Strictly Come Dancing, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, the Lloyd Webber BBC 'Star Search' series and more recently Take Me Out (ITV1) and Alan Carr's Chatty Man (C4).
